Chief Executive Officer

Justin Robins

Responsible for delegating job positions as well as creating policies of the organization to ensure the success of all departments. Hosts weekly meetings with other Chief officers to delegate tasks for the upcoming week. While organizing the conference from a larger scale, the chief executive officer is also responsible for delegating and redistributing resources where he sees needed.

Chief Marketing Officer

Carter Collier

Will organize and lead marketing team in promoting the Marlin Prestige Business Conference in the weeks leading up to the conference. Will advertise events and fundraisers accordingly for each event.

Nathan Sheirburn

To oversee our conferences operational processes, and to ensure superb attendees experience. Will optimize our conferences operating capabilities, employ strategies to maximize attendees satisfaction and manage operation/ event initiatives.

Human Resources Officer

Jamie McKinney

Develops policies and is responsible for overseeing every member follows them. HR also handles any conflicts that are between or about members of the conference and finds a solution that works for everyone. HR is responsible for C-Suite notes, enforcing the Code of Conduct, dress code, and making sure everyone is doing their job efficiently and effectively.

Reese Reid

Acts as an advisor to the CEO and other members of the group. Participates in regular meetings with the Head of Human Resources to discuss potential staffing issues. Keeps the CEO up to date on current ideas, issues, situations, and recommendations.

Julie Fassl

There to organize fundraisers with team in order to raise money. Collects money and keeps account of it in order to distribute it later for other purposes. Also able to go shopping for necessary items.

Will organize the conference binder and present the content in a clean, visually appealing way. This requires gathering and organizing data from Smartsheet, in addition to communicating with each group individually.

Finance and Marketing Liaison

Timothy Dias

Will attend meetings for both the finance and marketing departments, and will record and share information with both departments and is the main point of contact between the CMO and CFO. It will also help with any activities that involve the finance and marketing departments whenever possible.

Manager of Creative Design

Veronica Zamora

In charge of creating posters, flyers, and anything that promotes fundraisers and the conference. Position entails designing outgoing media such as trailers, websites, graphics, and other visuals that support and represent the present, prior, and future conferences  Plays a key role in grabbing public attention and giving the conference a visually appealing theme.

Accounting Clerk

Jacob Phillips

Looks at financial goals the company has set and budget them out. Works with the CFO to allocate funds into things that will help achieve set goals. Records all financial movements that the company makes.

This office develops ideas with the finance team that sets goals for fundraising events that will be used to obtain funds for the 2019 business conference by networking with potential donors and buyers of goods on and off campus.

Carries out fundraising events so that each one is profitable. Our goal is to raise enough money to cover potential costs of the business conference.

Events Coordinator

Austin Sax

Also known as Event Specialists or Event Planners, I am responsible for every aspect of event planning. My main duties include selecting venues, determining the cost, arranging event services and monitoring client approval.

Responsibilities Include; managing all event set-up, tear down and follow-up processes, maintain event budgets, booking venues, entertainers, photographers, and schedule speakers.

Conduct final inspections on the day of the event to ensure everything adheres to the client’s standards, and finally, assess an event’s overall success and submit findings.

Food and Beverage Coordinator

Liam Hurley

As the Food & Beverage Coordinator I will ensure the smooth and efficient running of the Food & Beverage Department by ensuring that coordination, administration, communication functions and duties of the department are carried out in a professional, discreet, exact and prompt manner in accordance with school policies.

Social Media Manager

Doug Avery

Creates and manages social media accounts as well as manages all social media marketing. Posts flyers, announcements, and information that work towards gaining support for the conference.

Market Research Manager

Derek Ringer

Face-to-face interactions with students and faculty on and off campus will allow this conference team to determine how to get the community involved in campus events by maintaining relationships with people that will be involved in the conference.

This role involves planning the release of announcements and advertisements to best promote events. Will hang flyers and other sources of promotional advertising across campus.

Operations Research Manager

Josh Wilson

As an Operational Research Manager I use advanced techniques like optimization, statistical analysis, and other forms of research to solve high level problems that we might face. I help the daily operations run as smooth as possible with planning and optimization.

Technology Officer

Qi Chen

Responsible for reserving and supervising any technological services needed for the business conference. Will also provide on-site IT assistance as needed to make sure everything goes smooth and easy.
